GPS Coordinates: 32° 4′ 15″ S. 19° 4′ 32″ E

Turn off the N7 to Clanwilliam. Continue straight on, past the main street of Clanwilliam (on your right) and over the Jan Dissel River bridge.  Stay on this road for another 34 km (the R364 to Calvinia), over the  Pakhuis Pass, to Travellers Rest.  On the way you will pass the grave of C Louis Leipoldt, to your left, after 15km.  During office hours check in at the farm stall on your right, just before the Brandewyn River bridge.  After hours, check in at the Traveller’s Rest farm house, turning left into the first gravel road after crossing the Brandewyn River bridge.
